How to Update
Preparation
Please charge the EVOTOP main unit sufficiently beforehand.
Prepare a USB cable and a thin tip.You can use the USB cable included with the unit.
Download the latest update file on this page.
Unzip the downloaded ZIP file at any location.
Update method
Connect the USB cable to the PC.
Close all running applications.
Run ZuikiEvoTopUpdate.exe.Do not run any other applications until the update is complete.
Select “Update Controller”.
Select “Update” after reading the notes on the screen.
While holding down the CAPTURE and HOME buttons, press the reset button on the back of the controller with the thin end of the prepared tip to initiate the update.
Wait for the update to complete. In the unlikely event that an error occurs, try updating again.
“Updating successful”.
When you close the window, a window may appear saying “This program may not have installed properly,” but there is no problem closing it by clicking the X button.
Checking update results
Operate the EVOTOP main unit to display “Controller Information > Device Information”.
Confirm that the number displayed in “Firmware Version” is the latest version.
UWB dongle update method
Run ZuikiEvoTopUpdate.exe.
Select “Update Dongle.”
Follow the on-screen prompts to insert the UWB dongle into the PC while pressing the button on the dongle.
When you see the message “Dongle update completed. is displayed, the update is complete.
